Alex the kitten

07/31/10

Format – Like many before it, this blog entry (post) is all over the place. So, I decided to separate the different topics to increase readability.

Layout – Thanks for all the positive feedback on my layout. I thought most people would see it as too plain.

Synced – Do you ever feel like you’re synced up with people you’ve never met? I do.

iTouch – I am very annoyed by the term: iTouch. Whenever I hear, or read, it I frown a little. In my head I’m thinking, Ugh, no! It’s an iPod Touch… iPod… Touch!. Heh, in my head I’m thinking… Like there’s any other place to think.

Comments – I am no longer approving comments that have nothing to do with the blog entry. Misreading an entry is tacky. But, not reading it at all is just lame.

Sometimes, the irrelevant comment is a random question or statement. But, most of them are a reply to the comment I made on their blog entry.

To be clear, I don’t mind these comments if you also respond to my blog entry.

I know many see blogs as a means of general communication. I do not. If it isn’t about the blog entry, shoot it to one of my contacts.

Alex – There were a LOT of requests to see Alex. I have a huge amount of pictures from the past few months. Here are some I took with my phone.

Alex

Alex
Ni hao (have on shorts) – 4 months old

I’m a fan of your increased readability happy

Synched – I don’t know. I do believe in the 6 degrees of separation kind of so yeah, maybe.

iTouch – It doesn’t bother me as much. I’m not a huge fan of Apple. Jobs seems a bit arrogant to me and their products are way too expensive. I do have to give them credit for their design interfaces because they are beautiful and extremely sleek.

Comments – I agree. I think both are incredibly tacky. I normally approve them but I just don’t ever visit their site (at least respond to their comment in my blog in my blogosphere rounds).

And oh my gosh. Alex is amazing. He looks so adorable. I love the sleeping pic. My cat rarely sleeps on his back but when he does it’s incredible cool. He prefers the sleeping in the kind of cliche cat way in a ball with his tail curled around his body. Ah, cats are amazing.

As for your comment, I’m angry with God because me trying to “prove he exists” is just so incredibly hard and nerve-wracking. I’m not Christian because I don’t think it would be appropiate to be Christian because when I “feel him”, I want to be sure it’s actually him and not just me creating him. And I wish there was some way he would reveal himself to me where I’d have no doubt. So I don’t know if he exists or not. So i don’t know. Christianity is important to me because I grew up in a “Christian” household and the teachings of Jesus are somewhat amazing. He was sort of like a rebel in his day suggesting that people should be humble and be servants to the people they employ or that they could have easily taken advantage of. I also don’t like the how there are so few women in the bible. I also strongly dislike the hierarchy of marriage. While I understand that no domination takes place, I relate the amount of responsibility placed on someone to the amount of trust they’re afforded. I also am angry that women are “gifts” to men. That disgusts me but if there is a God, then who the hell am I to argue? I just want to know answers to questions that require time… and I’m just an extremely impatient person. Sorry if this is more than you wanted to know… but you asked >;D

Your kitten at three months looks just like my new kitten (: Is yours a boy or girl? Mines a girl and my mom said they were really rare cause orange cats, 85% of them are male and mines not, so I feel special (: Hahah.

  4. Awe! Alex is absolutely adorable (holy alliteration, Batman)! Kittens are such a joy… I already have five, but I wish I had more. LOL.

I’m the same way when I hear “iTouch.” It sounds so… off. But then again… I think the whole iCulture is off.

Lovely website you have here. happy

Awh, your cat is so cute!

And yeah, I hate when people leave comments as a reply to your comment on their site only. Its like, ‘why bother’ cos they don’t even read your entry. Annoying! haha
